“This summer as a Dig Crew Intern, I learned about what we put into our earth and the air and how it affects us. For example, transportation and food waste… Learning about environmental justice and climate change really opens your eyes and makes you more self-aware and makes you realize how important it is to take care of this planet. So I think that’s where it could inspire a lot of other people to start caring about their surroundings and changing their everyday habits to better our environment.”
